Partnering with University of Wisconsin – Platteville

As a new organization, the Dubuque County Energy District (DBQCoED)is always looking for partners to help us get traction and improve access to clean, local energy for everyone in our county. We have been working with a team of students from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville’s Sustainability and Renewable Energy Systems program to develop education and communications tools we can use to advance our mission. With their help, we’ll have some templates for making presentations in the community about why clean, local energy matters and how the DBQCoED is advancing this mission. We’ll also have a directory of local businesses that work in energy efficiency and renewable energy and a guide for farmers and agri-businesses about clean, local energy. Look for these new tools soon!
