Legislative Energy Crawl
These stories, of our neighbors and friends, can and will impact the conversation around weatherization services provided in our communities. In partnership with organizations including Green Iowa Americorps, Operation New View, Iowa Community Action Association, Textile Brewing Company and the Dubuque County Energy District, the 2nd Annual Legislative Energy Crawl will be presented on Friday, October 23 from 9a-noon.

Weatherization is the practice of protecting a building and its interior from the elements, particularly from sunlight, precipitation, and wind, and of modifying a building to reduce energy consumption and optimize energy efficiency.
While our tours have gone hybrid in 2020, we want to place the immediate importance of local, state and federal financial support for programs which aid low-income residents, many of which benefit from lower energy bills and safer homes.
